voicesinmyhead - Prompt #12
I have been cooking since I could reach the counter. It isn't that I have to cook. Between my upbringing and my current status, I have more than enough resources to hire a cook. But, to be able to just get lost in a recipe. There's something joyful about it. To not care for a time about flour getting in your hair or on your shirt, or even if you get into a fight with the flour when cooking with a friend. It's a good way to relax, relieve stress, and just get back down to yourself. And I feel there is something satisfying in eating food I've cooked.
